Game Objective and Standings

The objective is to win your league championship. The team that scores the highest total number of points in the overall standings at the end of the season wins the title. Each league’s overall standings are calculated from the results of all race weekends. For every race weekend, a team’s score equals the sum of the points earned by its selected drivers.

If two or more teams are tied on total points, the ranking is decided using these criteria in this order:

  1. highest number of GP wins
  2. if still tied, highest number of second place finishes
  3. if still tied, highest number of third place finishes
  4. if still tied, the same rule is applied by comparing results in the next finishing positions, in descending order.

Team Composition

Teams are created differently depending on the league type.

For Budget Leagues:
  • each manager has 100 starting credits to build the team
  • each team must consist of 5 drivers.
  • driver prices are fixed, but they may change during the season based on real permormances.
For Dream Leagues:
  • each team consists of 4 drivers
  • each driver can belong to only one manager’s team within the same league
  • the league admin enters the teams after all participants have completed an offline auction or draft. For maximum enjoyment, an auction with a budget of 100 credits per manager is recommended.

Race Weekend

How GP scoring works:

  • for each race weekend, the points scored by all drivers in a team are summed to calculate the team’s total score
  • teams are then ranked from first place downward based on this total for that race
  • championship points are awarded to teams according to their race position, using the same points system as the real world championship.

If two or more teams have the same total score in a GP or Sprint, the final position is decided using these criteria in order:

  1. the team whose driver has the highest individual score ranks ahead
  2. if still tied, the next highest individual driver score in each team is compared, and the process continues in descending order
  3. if the tie remains after all drivers in the team have been compared, the teams are recorded as tied.

Per weekend you can earn up to 25 points in the overall championship standings (33 on Sprint weekends).

Points Calculation per Driver

A driver scores points for their team as follows:

  1. GP: Race points + Qualifying points
  2. Sprint: Sprint Race points + Sprint Qualifying points

Boost

The Boost is a multiplier applied to a driver's Position Points (it does not affect bonuses or penalties):

  • you can only set one boost per weekend
  • deadline is at the official start of the qualifying (or before sprint qualifying on weekends where the Sprint is also run)
  • Boost does not apply to Sprints.
For Budget Leagues

Boost types available per team (seasonal limits):

  • Bronze: 11 (multiplier x 1,4)
  • Silver: 8 (multiplier x 1,6)
  • Gold: 4 (multiplier x 1,8)
  • Dream: 1 ((multiplier x 2)

The Dream Boost can only be used once per season per team.

Limits per driver (for the entire season): maximum 2 Bronze, 2 Silver, 1 Gold; optionally 1 Dream (if available for the team).

If a driver you boosted is replaced during the season in order to acquire another driver, and you bring the original driver back in your team, the number of boosts available for him does not reset.

For Dream Leagues

Boost types available per team (seasonal limits) are slightly different from Budget Leagues:

  • Bronze: 8 (multiplier x 1,4)
  • Silver: 8 (multiplier x 1,6)
  • Gold: 4 (multiplier x 1,8)
  • Dream: 2 ((multiplier x 2)

Limits per driver (for the entire season): maximum 2 Bronze, 2 Silver, 1 Gold; optionally 1 Dream (if available for the team).

Lineup Changes - Budget Leagues

Between races, you can change your team by replacing up to three drivers, but if you make too many changes, you will receive penalties:

  • 1st change: free
  • 2nd change: -30 points in the next GP
  • 3rd change: -60 points in the next GP.

You can always reset your team to how it was at the last race weekend; in this case the exchange count is also reset.
